Had a few good birds to meet me. A couple of singing Ovenbirds, which did come into view nicely. A few Louisiana Waterthrushes singing aloud, one of which perched not too far away showing off the rump. Also had a nice clean Hooded Warbler off of Muddy Creek Road. Nice to still hear a lot of singing Hermit Thrushes and Ruby-crowned kinglets. Still some Yellow-bellied sapsuckers, brown creepers and golden-crowned kinglets in the neighborhood. Also flushed up a nice large great-horned owl and some wooducks checking out some tree cavities. Waiting for the rest to follow through. </DIV> <DIV>The SERC pond was also filled with a good amount of amphibians with calling American toads, Green frogs, Peepers, Southern Leopard Frogs and Pickeral frogs. </DIV> <DIV>Still having American Woodcock singing on Howard County. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aaron Haines</DIV> <DIV><A href="mailto:wildlhawksah@hotmail.com">wildlhawksah@hotmail.com</A></DIV> <DIV>Ellicott City </DIV></DIV><br clear=all><hr>Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at <a href="http://explorer.msn.com">http://explorer.msn.com</a><br></p></html> ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
