I also am not certain that this bird can be assigned a species as it could be a hybrid. The bird was very large with a large bill typical of Trumpeter/Whooper Swans. The forehead border on the bill was rounded like Whistling/Bewick's. The yellow was not as extensive as one would expect on a pure Whooper, but the bottom half of the yellow came to a point as opposed to being rounded on a Bewick's Swan. In any case it is an interesting bird, whatever it is.
