I took a trip to Deale Island today in hopes of seeing the Rough but no
luck. The day turned out very nice though. I'll only list my new year birds;

COMMON yELLOWTHROAT
BLACKNECK STILT
YELLOW WARBLER
CLAPPER RAIL
LEAST SANDPIPER
PURPLE MARTIN
also stopped at Hoopers Island for the GLAUCOUS GULL
