This trip will focus on Spring migrants and wildflowers. The walk is from Fisherman's Park south along the Susquehanna River. Because of the river and its localized effect on this area, it's one of the areas best places for Spring Wildflowers. They include; Trillium, Virginia Bluebells, Squirrelcorn, Dutchman's Breeches, white and yellow violets, etc. There will also be nesting Ospreys about and as always, ducts & gulls on the river. Meeting Place: Conowingo Dam, Fisherman's Park Time: 8:00 am (half day trip). Suggested equipment: boots, appropriate inclement weather cloth & a spotting scope (for use at the dam). Conveniences: Up at the dam only. Admission: None. Questions: email Scott. Note: This trip will involve walking.
