All of the migration information collected during 2000 is also available there for perusal. You'll find that we've also updated the pesticide/healthy habitat information. The observations that "control birders" reported last year were the foundation for BirdCast. Their important data provided the baseline for the rest of the project. However, observations submitted by zip code, no matter how irregularly, also provided important information. Anyone birding in the BirdCast area (VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ & NY) can submit their reports through our website. If you would like to become a "control birder" and report your bird observations regularly, please contact Sally Conyne ( sconyne@audubon.org ) for registration materials. Otherwise, simply report what you see at your convenience. We are eager to hear from any other birdwatchers who might be interested in the project, so spread the word. Recruits are encouraged. As you explore the site and the data, please send me any observations, suggestions, or other comments. Thank you in advance for your valuable participation.
