Also birding at Rock Creek were Gail & Barry, Lydia S., Linda F., Sherman S., Jonathan A., among others. Here are some additions to the comp list: BARRED OWL - an individual being harrassed by crows (I was alone when I saw this bird) BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER WORM-EATING WARBLER (I didn't see this bird, but others (Gail +) reported it). Some other birds of interest at Rock Creek, but not new for the year were: Blue-headed Vireo White-eyed Vireo Ruby-crowned Kinglet Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Hermit Thrush Brown Thrasher Gray Catbird Black & White Warbler No. Parula (reported by Gail, I missed this bird) Yellow-rumped Warbler (most numerous) Louisiana Waterthrush (down along the creek) I'm sure the others have more to add to that list. From Rock Creek I went to Anacostia Wetlands, where I recorded: YELLOW WARBLER (new for the year) ORCHARD ORIOLE Plus 4 Common Snipe.
