Sunday morning there was 15 Least Sandpipers, 12 Lesser Yellows, 4 Gr Yellows and 1 Solitary Sand plus 3 Mallards and 4 Canada Geese. A flock of 25-30 Pipits that has been in the area for 2 months was in the field as well. In the cutoff woods across the RR tracks, there was a singing Meadowlark. This was a new find, apparently attracted by the open space. On Oak Grove Rd, there is one Vesper Sparrow singing at the usual spot (described last year). It will often sit on the power line offering great scope views. Also 2 Savannah Sparrows here. In the fields on the east end of the road, a hoard of Laughing Gulls with 12 Ringers and 3 Black-Bellied Plovers (that were just over the line in DE or else I would have had a county bird).
