I birded from about 1p-4p and tallied 60 birds. Had a few interesting highlights. 1 winter-plumaged Red-throated Loon in one of the tidal creeks 2 Snowy Egrets showing off plumes 1 female Hooded Merganser 1 Winter Wren 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2 Yellow Warblers many Yellow-rumped Warblers, singing away 1 Yellow-throated Warbler, also singing a few Prairie Warblers 2 Yellow-breasted Chats and everywhere I stopped that had hedgerows or shrubs, there must have been 10-15 White-throated Sparrows. It felt like an invasion. A rough count of how many would be close to 100 in the 3 hours I was out.
