We had 62 species total with 12 warbler species. Highlights were Prothonotary, Yellow-throated, Cerulean and Worm-eating. Pishing worked very well today. I had Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Northern Parula, Prothonotary and Yellow-throated Warblers practically land on my head. When I got home, I sat on the deck for a while and watched 15-20 Cedar Waxwings eat apple blossoms and 2 male Ruby-throated Hummingbirds joust for supremacy at the feeders. I saw 2 Cedar Waxwings drinking the sap from a bleeding grape vine and a squirrel did this also. I have had a very vocal male Eastern Towhee around for over a week. I hope he gets a partner.
