Hi Gail, at the risk of embarrassing myself with this display of ignorance, could you please say more about what you mean by "conditions remain poor for migration?" It's obvious that a cold front would keep birds south, which was the case this weekend. But what are the other weather criteria you look for when predicting bird numbers? Also, I've never been to Rock Creek and the diversity of birds sounds marvelous. Any tips on where to go in the park?
