I also saw the same Black-crowned Nightheron there for the third time. While I was looking at a few Rough-winged Swallows standing on a little bit of sand , I saw a Snapping Turtle swimming toward them, but all the swallows flew away before the turtle could get one. Ms. Jane Coskren, if you are reading this, I want to thank you, really, for sending me that list of birds seen at Columbia lakes. I've had that list sent before, but lost it. Thanks again. What's your email address? If I had it, I would have thanked you before. In case you are interested, I've seen the baby Great Blue Herons in the two nests on that little island in 'Cucumber'.
