A lunchtime walk around the lake on the nature trail at Gilbert Run Lake yielded the following, including my first Eastern Wood-Pewee, Acadian Flycatcher, and Veery of the year: Great Blue Heron Turkey Vulture Canada Goose (pair plus 6 young) Mallard Osprey Greater Yellowlegs Belted Kingfisher Red-bellied Woodpecker Downy Woodpecker Eastern Wood-Pewee Acadian Flycatcher Eastern Phoebe Eastern Kingbird White-eyed Vireo Red-eyed Vireo Blue Jay American Crow Barn Swallow Tufted Titmouse Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Eastern Bluebird Veery Wood Thrush Gray Catbird Northern Mockingbird European Starling Northern Parula Black-throated Blue Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Worm-eating Warbler Ovenbird Common Yellowthroat Hooded Warbler Scarlet Tanager Northern Cardinal Red-winged Blackbird Common Grackle Orchard Oriole American Goldfinch Looking forward to the SMAS Birdathon here Sat.!!!
