McHenry. Two other birders, Wendy and Kim (I missed their last names), joined Jim Peters and I for the evening walk. We found fifty-four species for the day including three warblers species, a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, and two Bobolink. 12:00p-1:15p Brown Thrasher (1); OVENBIRD (1); COMMON YELLOWTHROAT (1m, 1f); YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT (1); Bobolink (2m). 6:00p-8:30pm Balck-Crowned Night Heron (1); Hermit Thrush (1); Cedar Waxwing (2); Common Yellowthroat (3m); Rose-Breasted Grosbeak (1m); Savanah Sparrow (1); White-Crowned Sparrow (1); Swamp Sparrow (2).
