Chats seem to be in good numbers, there are at least three singing away = and possibly a fourth. Indigo Buntings are all over the place. There also = seems to be three male Blue Grosbeaks here. Both Orioles have been seen = recently, although most are Orchards. Had an American Bittern flyover = yesterday morning and heard Bobolink, but didn't have time to look for = them. Except for Chats, Common Yellowthroats and Yellow-rumped, warbler = numbers have been low with a only a few Parulas, Black and Whites and 1 = Yellow this morning.=20 One screech owl is still being seen occasionally and our wetland mitigation= pond has been hosting up to 5 Solitary Sandpipers. Last week a Greater = Yellowlegs visited for a few hours (first for the park.) I have heard a = cuckoo calling a few times, but have not seen it yet.
