At Myrtle Grove we = heard one Black-throated Blue Warbler, saw 1 Myrtle Warbler, and 1 Swamp = Sparrow. Heard 1 Blackpoll Warbler in LaPlata. Saw 1 Black-throated = Blue in Gilbert Run Park. Also at Gilbert Run was a singing male = Cerulean Warbler. It was in tall trees by the lake along the Nature = Trail, shortly before stop 18, where some Showy Orchis was in bloom by = the trail. It was about 1030-1045. Ceruleans are very rare breeders on = the Coastal Plain and this may well be only a migrant, but it appeared = to be on territory. I hope someone can get there to follow with further = sightings.
