Highlights and/or new arrivals: Blue Grosbeaks - several Indigo Buntings - numerous Scarlet Tanager - heard in distance Eastern Wood-Pewee - new arrival Northern Orioles - at least two Orchard Orioles - several Wood Thrushes - six or more Red-eyed Vireos - several Wild Turkey - strolling across the entrance road Grasshopper Sparrows - many White-throated Sparrow - a couple stragglers still around And, shortly after leaving Pickering Creek, I checked the turtle laden waters beside Little Park Road near the intersection with Todd's Corner Road - and found a mother Wood Duck with eight or possibly nine young. The young looked to be about a week old.
