It was a cloudless sky and they tend to fly higher. Overcast is best, with south winds. Today 5/11 Eastern Wood-Pewee, 2 Acadian Flycatchers, 2 Great Crested Flycatchers, Barn Swallow, 2 Veery, 2 Swainson's Thrush, 4 Wood Thrush, 3 Red-eyed Vireo, 4 Scarlet Tanagers, 3 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks and the following warblers: a female Parula, 2 Magnolia, Cape May, 3 Black-throated Blue, 3 Yellow-rumped, male and female Black-throated Green, Blackpoll, 3 Redstart, Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush and Yellowthroat.
