From 11:35PM on 5/11 to 12:15AM on 5/12 I heard the following thrushes flying over my house: 15 Veery, 4 Gray-cheeked, 2 Bicknell's, 23 Swainson's and 6 Wood. I also heard 3 Bobolinks. The southerly winds were perfect for a good flight. The next night was quiet as a result of northwest winds. 5/12 Eastern Wood-Pewee, 2 Acadian Flycatchers, 2 Red-eyed Vireos, Swainson's Thrush, 3 Wood Thrush, 20 Cedar Waxwings, Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, 3 Indigo Buntings, Chipping Sparrow and the following warblers: Parula, Magnolia, Cape May, Black-throated Blue, 4 Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green, 2 Redstart and Yellowthroat. 5/13 Acadian, Great Crested Flycatchers, 3 Red-eyed Vireos, Wood Thrush, Field Sparrow and the following warblers: Parula, 2 Magnolia, Cape May, Black-throated Blue, 2 Yellow-rumped, Black-throated Green, 3 Redstart (1 female), Northern Waterthrush and Yellowthroat.
