The sighting was made some time after midday, Thursday, May 10. Linda Friedland and I had been birding with Mary in Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens earlier that day but decided (unwisely, it would appear) not to accompany Mary to Kingman. DC birders are advised to be on the lookout for this species, which I believe is a review bird so far from known breeding areas on or close to the Bay. I will go looking for this bird some time in the coming week. I hope someone else can do so also. Sorry I couldn't post this earlier; the May Count intervened. Mike Bowen Bethesda, MD D.H.
