However, one was a Mississippi Kite! Our third of the season. This one was an adult. Late Kestrels on both days. Also two Common Nighthawks today 5/14, the first of the season. I neglected to mention 51 Solitary Sandpipers on 5/12. 5/13/2001 Sunday TV 9 OS 4 BE 1 SS 7 CH 2 BW 1 RT 1 AK 1 TOTAL 26 HOURS 7 5/14/2001 Monday TV 14 OS 6 MK 1 SS 5 CH 1 BW 7 AK 1 U 2 TOTAL 37 HOURS 7 YEAR-TO-DATE BV 296 TV 4629 OS 428 MK 3 BE 54 NH 76 SS 1933 CH 409 RS 226 BW 588 RT 314 AK 333 ML 48 PG 1 U 51 TOTAL 9389 HOURS 429.6 Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD.
