MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi Gail, I am sorry to be so mysterious, but I was the lucky one who found the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher on May Count. Lucky because Jim Boxwell couldn't see from the back of the truck and Anne Bishop was working on the list at the time. We could not contact the owner (and still haven't) to ask about access to others and I am not the one with the permission to bird the area. Our May Count area is southern St. Mary's County including Point Lookout State Park, but the flycatcher was in Dameron. Immediately after leaving the flycatcher we had a thunderstorm and we are assuming it left at that point. Anne and I checked 3 times on Mother's Day to no avail. We are still looking and if it shows up we will post the circumstances. We had a good count with 133 species. We finally had warblers! Good Birding!
