The best bird was a Tricolor Heron out towards the end of the Boardwalk, in the spatterdock and then sitting in a tree. A few shorebirds, about 3-4 Solitary SPs, 8-10 Spotted SP, one Least and one Short-billed Dowitcher (the latter along the River Trail out on the little islands). We also heard and saw Yellow and Prothonotary Warbler, Orchard and Baltimore Orioles and heard a Redstart (the only apparent migrant).
