Please accept my apologies if this shows up twice. Last weekend Dottie Mumford and Linda Baker found a clay-colored sparrow at Kinder Farm Park during the May count. This morning during a birdwalk we heard, but could not see the bird. A short time ago Sue Riccardi and I went to the spot and saw the sparrow. It buzzed frequently and occasionally sat in the open in the small trees and shrubs allowing us to get good looks.
