I was off Monday and Tuesday, but was able to find the bird = this morning.=20 Marshall, thanks for the comments about possible nesting for the sparrow. = I had been curious about the possibility due to the length of time the = bird has been here. I have seen the clay-colored chasing field sparrows = around area. I'll continue to watch for the sparrow. Yesterday's rain seems to have produced the best warbler day at Kinder yet = this year. A brief bit of birding found Prairie, Blackpoll, Black and = White, N. Parula, Redstart, Magnolia, N. Waterthrush, Chat and C. = Yellowthroat. Other birds seen were Blue Grosbeak, Balt. Oriole, dozens of = Cedar Waxwings, Green Heron, and 1 Green-winged Teal that flew into one of = the ponds.
