    This morning I was all set to go out birding but an early rush of =
warblers sent me out scouting the yard. I was delighted to add a new =
yard bird with a MOURNING WARBLER!! Just as I was descending from that =
excitement I spotted a flycatcher on a dead snag. It was an OLIVE-SIDED =
FLYCATCHER! A rush of calls to those birders I new could get to my house =
quick netted the first arrival great looks through the scope. =
Unfortunately the bird departed before the main group of birders =
arrived. We searched around the neighborhood for an hour but could not =
relocate the bird. To our amazement we did find a male SUMMER TANAGER =
and female BLUE GROSBEAK along with a nice assortment of warblers. A =
quiet empid suggested least but not a peep from him.
    I will be on the lookout for the OSF. It may show again this =
afternoon.=20
