They have been around for a while, as I saw five of them on Friday morning at about the same time (5:30-5:45 a.m.). Shorebirds back at Forebay, the pond behind the lake, included 3 SPOTTED SANDPIPER, 3 LEAST SANDPIPER, and a solitary SOLITARY SANDPIPER. Warblers heard singing were: YELLOW, BLACKPOLL (numerous), HOODED, BLACK-THROATED BLUE, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, and COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.
