It was pretty amazing and I thought for sure that one of the turtles was surely going to die. After I watched the fight go on for at least 15 minutes I realized that I was not the only one watching the fight. Perched on the opposite side of the Canal were 2 Barred Owls. I suspect that they were waiting for one of the turtles to lose the fight !!! It was a fairly memorable experience. I never did find out if the owls did battle over the remains of the unlucky turtle.
