This is a species I have never seen before from my office window. =20 About an hour later a non-birder coworker saw and described what was likely a Broad-winged Hawk flying west a hundred or so feet from the windows. I completely missed that bird, because I was staring at the computer screen. =20 A few minutes after the hawk, a Northern Mockingbird flew from west to east a couple hundred feet from my window. This is one of just a handful of observations I have made from my window of this species. =20 Not Upper Watts Branch, but hey, interesting. =20 Best,=20 Rob Hilton rhilton@csa.com Bethesda, Md. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
