An Alder Flycatcher, found near the AmeriSuite Hotel, was the highlight of the seven flycatcher species found that morning. It was heard by all; recognized by few; and viewed for a short time by Carol Schreter. The entire group had a great look at a couple of Yellow-Breasted Chats in the final moments of the walk. In addition to the Chats (4), seven warbler species were found: YELLOW (7m, 2f, 1nest); MAGNOLIA (2m); BLACKPOLL (6m, 3f); NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH (1); COMMON YELLOWTHROAT (4m, 3f); AMERICAN REDSTART (1 1st yr. m, 3 singing). A singing White-Throated Sparrow was counted.
