This trip will focus on Spring migrants. Meeting Place: Elk Neck State Forest, Service Parking lot just off Irishtown Road. (At Rt. 272 & Rt. 40, go South on Rt. 272 until you just leave the town of North East. On the left is Irishtown Road. Elk Neck State Forest is about 3-4 miles on the left. Immediately after you turn into the Forest , turn left into a driveway and you're there.) Time: 7:00 am (half day trip). Suggested equipment: boots, appropriate inclement weather cloth, insect repellent. Conveniences: bathrooms at the rife range, but trees only, on the walk. Admission: None.
