The = area to see them is from behind the motel and the crab stand along Rte. = 40 just 1/4 mile east of the turnoff for Rte. 24. Both birds were in the = back of the pond in the area where there is some open water and some = frags and cattails. It took a fair amount of scoping because the = vegetation is thick but Icould find at least one bird on every two or = three scans. I may have found a nest, bu the bird was hidden in the = weeds a long way off and I could not be certain. Eirik A.T.
