While walking in on the hiker-biker trail, we bumped into a couple who had reported that the bird had not been seen today, so we weren't too optimistic. After finding Bluebird Box #9, we didn't see or hear the bird. We did see many Bluebirds, but no sparrows. I than walked down the path to box #10 and my brother spotted a Field Sparrow. Than, while walking back down the path from Box #10, I heard the repeated buzzes of the C-C Sparrow, and I spotted the bird pearched atop a small bush on the right (along the trail coming from box #10). We got great looks at the bird from around 30 or 40 feet. Than, it flew further into the scrubby field, and we didn't see or hear it for the remainder of our hour or so there.
