Or at least it was back in early May. Take rt. 29 north to the end, rt. 99. Turn left, go several miles, look for Henryton Rd. on the right. Turn right, go to end. When I went, I think it was the first week in May, one was singing in a huge Tulip Poplar on the left side of the parking area. It is generally reputed that you do not need to leave the parking area to get these birds at Henryton. Of course, they may no longer be singing. Rockburn Park in Howard County usually hosts Kentuckys. The Forest Habitat Trail at Patuxent North Tract looks like likely habitat for Kentuckys, though I personally have NOT been on it this year. At Rockburn, take the wood chip trail that begins behind the new water distro building on the right as you enter the park.
