Halpin" Subject: Clay-colored Sparrow MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit This bird made a brief appearance Wednesday evening about 7PM in Kinder Park (AA). It flushed from the grassy area between bird boxes 8 and 9 and was about 10 feet from the mowed path. It flew to the top of an 8 foot bush about 30 feet away, perched for about a minute, then flew away, not to be found again. I had been there about 45 minutes and during this time I did not hear the bird (I was using a Super Ear to compensate for my hearing deficit).
