In the same area as the sparrow we saw 2 Prairie = Warblers, Chats and Field Sparrows.=20 A real hot-spot elsewhere in the park was next to the community gardens. = Walking along the paved trail by the gardens we saw 1 Orchard Oriole, 1 = Blue Grosbeak, 2 Eastern Kingbirds, 1 Indigo Bunting, many Bluebirds and = best of all a family of Baltimore Orioles. Both a male and female oriole = were feeding at least two recently fledged orioles in the mulberry trees = in this area. The Baltimore Orioles that nested near the white house = fledged within the last few days. If you bird this area please park by the = playground and walk across the road towards the gardens. Another good spot was the trail leading to East-West Boulevard. At the end = by the fence we saw or heard at least 4 Orchard Orioles. Chats and Indigo Buntings were found throughout the park.
