Folks
Yesterday about 4 PM an adult Cooper's Hawk chased a Common Grackle through
my back yard in Waldorf.   Probably a nesting bird.  I have seen around the
house in Waldorf either this animal or the mate for several weeks now.
The Whip-poor-wills and Blue Grosbeak that are in the area continue to sing,
also.
