Also, it seemed smaller than Lesser 'Legs. Many Stilt Sands were seen at the Flats last summer, so the only thing unusual about this bird is the very early date. Conditions at Paper Mill Rd. Flats-- the area at the end of the path is a lake. Mudflats can be found closer to the parking area. The Stilt Sand was within 100 yards of the parking area. I did some trail maintenance in early June, but the trails are overgrown again.
