However I haven't seen them as regularly over the past two months as I had earlier in the year. Some days they won't be there at all, other days just one will be visible (as was the case today, 7/3), and other days I'll see two (as was the case yesterday and last Thursday). Virginia Peregrine expert Shawn P. said that they may tend to spend the summer under the bridge span to escape the heat, which may explain why I haven't seen them as often since the weather has warmed up. On the other end of the trestle, the Osprey pair is busy raising 2 youngsters.
