Here's what we found: Killdeer: 13 Solitary: 7 Spotted: 3 Lesser Yellowlegs: 4 Greater Yellowlegs: 1 (probable, see below) Least Sand: 6 The "probable" had the general size, shape and facial pattern of Greater Yellowlegs. Debbie had questions about bill shape (too thick), leg color (light but not brilliant yellow) and leg length (too short). I think Gr. Yellowlegs does have a fairly thick bill, but agree on the other points. Greater Yellowlegs is still the most likely ID.
