The trail begins at Burnside = Bridge, and it's called Snavely Ford trail. On Saturday morning we had a = (silent) male Cerulean Warbler in the canopy but nicely visible for a = moment. It was between markers 6 and 7. In addition there were many = vocal and visible Indigo Buntings, one adult male having a discussion = with two young, quite close to the trail and really pretty much = undisturbed by our watching. Other birds included L. Waterthrush, E. = Towhee, E. Phoebe, E. Wood Pewee, all quite nicely seen and all vocal = except the Waterthrush. The hour-plus walk was never silent.=20 Joe Alexander Middletown, MD joealexander@gscyclone.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
