Thought it was probably a cat but when the caterwauling didn't subside I walked around the yard and startled a Sharpie who was on the ground. He took off & disappeared in our very thick hedge row. There were no tell-tell feather on the ground. Could it be one of the Sharpies from Soldier's Delight which is only about 6 miles from us as the crow er-ah hawk flies?
