He was hunkered down, trying to stay dry I guess. Very nice to see on such a gloomy day. I also saw a turkey vulture (not unusual, I know, probably not even noteworthy) that seemed to be flapping a lot more frequently than they usually do; I'm guessing it was because of the rain. Don't they usually stay put when it's raining because of the energy involved in staying airborne?
