Oops, I recall that a couple of years ago Barry and I had a Marbled Godwit
at the John Brown Road turf farm. This was in late summer. It came flying in
and it was a very large very buffy/warm shorebird landing out on the turf,
and we were really *hoping* it was going to be a Long-billed Curlew. But the
Godwit was a nice surprise, too.
