Our best finds of the day came in the shorebird department. The main pond at Chesapeake (Remington) Farms was excellent. Lots of Stilt Sandpipers were the highlight for me. Also present were all 3 peeps, only 2 Western, both Yellowlegs, Pecs, Spotted, Killdeer. The pond at the turnaround of the wildlife drive had less shorebirds, but we added 4 more Stilt Sands, 2 Solitaries, and a Semi Plover. Other nice birds for the day were a 1st-summer/2nd-winter Lesser Black-backed Gull at Rock Hall Harbor, and 3 Upland Sandpipers at the intersection of 213 and Worton Rd. just north of Chestertown. Good birding, Matt Hafner Chestertown, MD ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
