Last month, I saw all three species during a brief visit and again yesterday at the Prospect Bay in late afternoon. Osprey's nest at the Lake Knapp had two fledged young and both took short flight. Shorebirds on the rise with about 200 yesterday and expecting to rise to about 400 in the next two or three weeks. Heat kept some warblers and sparrows in shade. Anyone who is interesting to go birding at Horsehead to see shorebirds and scoters, let me know. I'm available every Sunday this month between 7am and 5pm. Best to come around 8am for good view. Good chance to get about 70 species and hundreds of shorebirds. Kevin Graff Baltimore, MD hawkwatch_21206@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
