The bird has bands on both red legs, red on right and blue/grey on left. The bird is black, with white spots on the back of the head, on the rump, the legs and the primary feather(s) are white. The eyes are black on light (yellow) background with a white eye-ring. The bird seems very comfortable with people and will let me approach within three feet before slowing walking away and remained on its roost at that same distance. I did not attempt to get closer. I would be interested if anyone knows where this bird may come from.
