I don't know any details, but he used the word "attack," so be careful in this area. I didn't see any dogs down there, but not too many birds either -- 1 great egret, 2 solitary sandpiper, 2 green heron, several osprey, and a red-shouldered hawk. I heard northern bobwhite on two occasions -- from the asphalt path by the cove and from the dirt trail that leads from the service road back up to the farm. Bladensburg Waterfront Park afforded nice looks at 2 pectoral sandpipers, 1 lesser yellowlegs, 1 female common merganser, 1 great egret, and 2 osprey.
