Overlook Park is a very small neighborhood park 0.5 mi north of the city/county line near Loch Raven Blvd. It is currently under redevelopment from a prior existence as a Genstar cement plant and is another small plot of land saved from the housing developers. It is not big enough to be a field trip destination, but during the great May 8, 1999 fallout in Baltimore, it did host 57 species in an area the size of 2-3 city blocks, one third of which was covered with cement in various stages of disintegration. Species seen then included 18 warbler species and both cuckoos. Baltimore Orioles have nested in Overlook Park the past two seasons.
