She had wanted to see a Bald Eagle in the wild. I'm in Carroll County & it took us over an hour to get there but it was worth it. We had 2 adults & 1 immature Bald Eagles. All were located on the towers for the power lines so the telescope came in handy. We also had Double Crested Cormorants, Great Blue Herons & 2 Ospreys. There were a few gulls flying but I didn't spend time trying to identify them. We also did the trail along the river & my niece amazed me by finding a male Prothonotary Warbler.
