Off of = Marriotsville RD I found my first SHARPIE of the fall. A good number of = INDIGO BUNTINGS (40) and FIELD SPARROWS in aproximately the same = numbers. My only migrant warbler was a CHESTNUT-SIDED in a mixed flock = of titmice and chickadees. In the same flock was a very young = chickadee-not being fed by parents but appeared recently fledged. (?) Two SCARLET TANAGERS and a BALTIMORE ORIOLE and singing PEWEE were = notable.=20 At Alpha Ridge Park I observed another BALTIMORE ORIOLE, BLUE = GROSBEAK, pair of AMERICAN KESTRELS and GREAT-CRESTED FLYCATCHER. The = fields at the park look VERY promising for sparrows in a few more weeks. = =20 Bonnie Ott Ellicott city,Howard County bonnie1163@home.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
